I am so excited.
I'm sure anyone could have guessed the above statement but I just had to say it. My mind has been whirling these past few days about our birthmother and our soon-to-be daughter. I am constantly thinking about what I will need to bring with me to Florida and getting a hotel room and just everything.
I just got off the phone with our birthmom's social worker and I will be doing a conference call with the two of them a week from today! I am really nervous and excited about that. Ya'll know that I can be rather shy at times and I'm not that great of a phone talker...or a talker in general. I do think that once I start speaking with the birthmother I will be more at ease...after all, this precious woman is giving us the most precious gift we could ever receive from another human being and I know I will forever be grateful to her and will forever love her for that.
If all goes accordingly (as in, she signs the papers and if the baby girl is born on her due date) it looks as if we will become parents in exactly four weeks!
